In this project the assignment was to make a new book cover and posters for a hypothetical play of a chosen book. All of which are supposed to be made only using typography, with no pictures or other design elements. The book chosen as theme here was ”Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. To still be able to use some form of illustrations, words in the shape of well known scenes from the original story were used. Lewis Carroll’s actual handwriting also took part in the project as an interesting element.
The typographic posters are viewable beneath, all of which are also made only using lettering.
